As a leader in neurological adult and paediatric rehabilitation and therapy, we are often asked to consult on complex or difficult cases in Melbourne or other parts of regional or rural Victoria and the rest of Australia. This has resulted in our launch of our telehealth or online consultation services since 2018 to assist many interstate, regional and international clients in obtaining accurate advice and assistance in their rehabilitation journey.
Depending on the nature of the problem, you may be suitable to receive therapy over the internet from our expert clinicians, much like you would have a confidential and private consultation face to face in our clinic.
You will need to have access to a computer, laptop or mobile phone with a web or video camera and a stable internet connection.
Contact us via email at reception@klintneuro.com.au or call us directly and let us know that you would like a telehealth appointment. It greatly helps if you could summarise your condition or diagnosis and the purpose of what you would like us to help you with. This may be in the form of an assessment, therapy, training, report writing, equipment prescription or simply to obtain a second opinion. Initial consultations are typically 1 hour however they may be longer depending on the complexity or scope of the requested opinion.
Upon confirmation of your appointment booking, we will send you a confirmation email which includes a link to a secure online platform that enables us to have a real time consultation. All information exchanged over the platform is encrypted, and documentation will be kept confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We will also send you any additional instructions and documentation such as questionnaires, outcome measures, service agreements etc prior to the appointment if needed and then you're good to go!
Please be mindful of any time differences depending where you are consulting from and any adjustments due to daylight savings.
While most conditions or disorders may benefit from our expertise and advice for case reviews, physical management, exercise guidelines, therapy, report writing or equipment prescription or recommendations, we find the following conditions or situations most suited to online consultations:
*Additional conditions apply in these situations
