The NDIS is a new way of providing individualised support for people under the age of 65 with a permanent and significant disability. We are currently registered providers with NDIS for Improved Daily Living and Assistive Technology.
We have been providing NDIS services since its inception in Victoria and can provide you with guidance and assessments to help you get the most out of your NDIS plan or planning meeting.
I’ve been assessed as eligible for an NDIS package and am waiting for my first planning meeting. Is there anything you could do to help me?
We are able to provide you with an initial consultation to provide more specific recommendations on the areas of therapy focus you should consider in the planning of your NDIS supports for your given goal. This will provide you with greater clarity about the full extent of what you may need in the longer term, and give you ideas on what you should discuss at the planning meeting. You can request that we be present at your planning meeting if you wish however it is not a requirement to have a health professional present.
Do I need to show you my NDIS plan?
We do not need to see your plan, but we do need to know your NDIS participant number and plan dates so the invoices generated are correctly attributed to you and the particular plan. We do need some detail from your plan in order to set up a service agreement or write a report for you.
I have difficulty with managing my NDIS plan. What should I do?
Many people initially start with using an external agency or the NDIA to assist with their plan management to understand the way in which services are provided and funded. It may be worthwhile seeking additional help from a case management or support coordination service that is experienced in working with people with disabilities.
Do you provide services to me at home?
Yes we do. We can provide services under NDIS at our clinic consulting locations or at your home or local community.
Do you see self-managed NDIS participants?
Yes we do, for both paediatric and adult participants.
What types of equipment are you able to prescribe?
We are able to prescribe a range of equipment under the NDIS, ranging from basic to more complex. More details can be found at our Equipment page found here.
Where can I go to find out more information about the NDIS?
